Educational Support
7.1 million Indian children do not attend school, according to UNICEF. By ensuring that all children attend school, it prevents child labor and makes sure that impoverished children have a bright future. Future leaders in India are not being educated due to illiteracy and poverty, either because their parents cannot afford it or because they are not exposed to a progressive environment.
In order to raise awareness about the benefits of education, the Together We Heal Foundation holds educational awareness programmes. The benefits of education are endless. Since it fosters thinking independence and fosters a life perspective, education can be one of the techniques for eradicating poverty. Children from illiterate families are also assisted in enrolling in English schools by the Child Help & Care Foundation, and this organization is dedicated to ensuring that every kid has the right to survive, development, protection, and participation in society.
Scholarships are awarded to students who score 80 percent or higher in the tenth and twelfth grades. Children are supervised and counseled. Students from low-income families wishing to pursue higher education can apply for scholarships from the Together We Heal Foundation.
Girls are kept out of school by poverty, discrimination, and exploitation. TWHF strives to promote girl education at the grassroots level. As part of this program, we pay for the education of girl children.
In schools and slums, TWHF organizes health awareness programs for slum residents and for underprivileged children to raise awareness on various health issues.
Through health and immunization camps, counseling, and midday meals, the student’s overall development is taken care of in terms of their health, their social engagements, and their nourishment. Libraries, health care centers, and literacy programs will be provided as soon as possible
In TWHF’s view, helping is not merely about handing out money, but about making a commitment over the long term and focusing on results. Slums house countless families.
There is a lack of basic amenities for the families staying here, like drinking water, basic sanitation, adequate nutrition, a clean environment, etc.
