Orphanage Support
The orphanage takes care of children who are orphans or semi-orphans, and whose biological parents are dead or otherwise unable to take responsibility for them. Children’s support is legally the responsibility of their biological parents & sometimes their grandparents, though other relatives may care for them if their parents cannot. Children who are wards of the state are housed, fed, and educated in orphanages.
A child whose parents are dead and who has been abandoned permanently is an orphan. The future of a child is uncertain when he or she loses either of their parents. This is why street children are referred to as street children. The children are not protected or cared for by their families. Street children live under railway bridges, in slums, at railway stations, in shops, and at bus stands.
Together We Heal Foundation provides shelter to children who have lost their families due to tough conditions at a time when they need it most. Maltreatment, child labour, gender discrimination, trafficking, HIV/AIDS, health issues, homelessness, and poverty are among the many issues impacting Indian orphans.
Many of the orphanages we partner with in Mumbai and other cities provide young girls with education, food, clothing, and medical care through these programs. Particularly when children have been physically and emotionally abused, these cases are extremely sensitive. We strive to provide them with a better future by rehabilitating them. Affection, attention, kindness, and education are needed for these orphans.
In addition to providing financial support, we assist shelters with their essential and basic expenses, since they are underfunded and do not have the resources to run effectively. Home is not only a place to sleep but also a place of safety, love, and care for every child.
