Mrs. Fozia Shaikh (Founder)
In this field, she has over 10 years of experience. Her early years as a social worker made her realize how limited the good work of most organizations was. In order to help more and more underprivileged people on a personal level and help them according to their needs instead of a more narrow approach without any limitations, Mrs. Fozia Shaikh started what is known as the Together We Heal Foundation.
There is no end to her energy & enthusiasm. In the last decade, she has worked selflessly for underprivileged and orphan children and women as well as for children’s and women’s rights. Dedicated, sincere, passionate, and simple, she works hard to support underprivileged women and children. Using her ability to manage diverse activities along with her realistic approach and courage, Together We Heal Foundation empowered and prepared as many marginalized children as possible for the future.
An empowered woman is sensitive to the rights of girl children and the empowerment of women. Since her childhood, she has worked towards the betterment of girls and women. She established the Together We Heal Foundation as a weapon designed to help every girl child and woman who is underprivileged stand on their own feet.
She lives by the motto, “everything you give will be returned to you a thousand fold.”
Born into a middle-class family and brought up in a male-dominated society, she belongs to a middle-class family. Our society exhibits gender inequality. Her experiences as a woman give her a unique perspective on women’s issues. In her early years, she herself witnessed the hardships faced by the poor and weaker sections of society.
The only way for them to achieve prosperity is through education. She wants to build a school for underprivileged children and give free access to basic and better quality education to the underprivileged.
